Prince William calls for immediate end to Israel-Hamas conflict, urges humanitarian aid and ceasefire

Prince William has urged for an immediate end to the Israel-Hamas conflict, expressing deep concern over the escalating death toll and humanitarian crisis. 

Since a Hamas attack in October, the conflict has resulted in thousands of Palestinian casualties and widespread displacement. The prince emphasized the urgent need for humanitarian aid to Gaza and the release of hostages. He stressed the importance of pursuing permanent peace despite the immense suffering. 

The U.S. has proposed a UN resolution for a ceasefire, while the UK’s Labour Party calls for an immediate humanitarian pause. 

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak advocates for a sustainable ceasefire with hostage release and cessation of rocket attacks.
