Four charged after £40m cocaine found in East Yorkshire pub car park

Four men have been charged with importing Class A drugs, after half a tonne (500kg) of cocaine was found in an East Yorkshire village pub car park.

Anthony McAllister, 32, of Aldersyde, Taynuilt, 24-year-old Daniel Livingstone, of Calton Avenue, Campbeltown and Mark Moran, 22, of Glenfyne Terrace, Ardrishaig appeared at Hull Magistrates’ Court.

They have been remanded into custody and will reappear at Hull Crown Court on 5 June.

A Colombian national, 39-year-old Didier Javier Tordecilla Reyes, has also been charged and is due to appear in court later.

The National Crime Agency said the drugs, with a street value of £40m, were found in a van in the car park of the Stags Head Inn in Lelley, East Yorkshire on Saturday.
