Tyson Fury has hit back at Eddie Hearn’s claim that Anthony Joshua is the best heavyweight boxer on the planet right now, insisting Oleksandr Usyk ‘would have something to say about that’.
Joshua beat Francis Ngannou on Friday night, flooring his opponent three times as he won in two rounds.
AJ’s victory over Ngannou came after victories over Jermaine Franklin Jr, Robert Helenius and Otto Wallin last year.
After the fight, Hearn said: “I’m so proud of him because there was a huge amount of pressure.

“If we won this fight then he would fight the winner of Fury v Usyk.
“You’re looking at the number one heavyweight in the world.”
But Fury has now hit back and admitted Usyk would probably disagree with the boxing promoter given he’s beaten Joshua twice in the past.
The Ukrainian first got the better of the Watford-born star back in 2019.
And Usyk powered his way to victory over Joshua two years ago as well.
