It appears the Vladimir Putin fears an attempt on his life as reports claim the paranoid Russian despot now wears a bulletproof vest and is protected by “invisible guards”.
The tyrant can take his pick of enemies who wish him dead, from Ukraine allies and Islamic terrorists to political opposition.
And it seems Putin is becoming increasingly jittery over this threat as the already strict security measures around the Russian president have been “ramped up” to an “unprecedented degree”, The Moscow Times reports, over its invasion of Ukraine.
The paper also reports special services have been “rattled” by the 2022 assignation of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and the attempt on Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico’s life last month, ramping up Putin’s security as a response.
