Netflix has dropped the trailer for its scandalous new show about the world’s most famous porn star – and the internet has mixed reactions to the extremely raunchy first look.
Supersex, which will lay bare the story of how Italian actor Rocco Siffredi left his humble beginnings behind to become one of the most prominent porn stars on the globe, is set to premiere on March 6.
The streaming giant shared a glimpse into the upcoming biographical drama – which still star Alessandro Borghi, Jasmine Trinca, and Adriano Giannini – on Thursday morning, but it was met with a fierce response from viewers.
While some were excited for the show, others were left uncomfortable by the numerous X-rated scenes sprinkled throughout the teaser.
The trailer begins by showing Rocco arriving to an awards show as paparazzi swarm him.
He wins the accolade for Best European Actor, before it flashes back to him as a young boy in Italy.
‘The more I became Rocco Siffredi, the more I realized the price I’d have to pay,’ he says in a voiceover.
Rocco then explains how his older brother Tommy was his ‘teacher’ as a kid, before it shows Tommy explaining to a young Rocco that ‘men and women have dynamite between their legs.’
He adds, ‘This is the energy that drives the world, Rocco.’
A montage of clips then show Rocco as a child being entranced by a woman dancing, longingly starring at another sunbathing in her bikini, and watching his brother get intimate with his partner.
As the trailer continues, it flashes forward to Rocco as a teen, and it quickly begins to heat up.
One moment shows him running his hand up a woman’s thigh and another features him laying in bed shirtless with someone on top of him.
