Man shot in head driving home from SC Chinese restaurant. He continued driving while hurt

Horry County Police responded to the shooting. The man sought help from a random homeowner after he had been shot.

A man was shot in the back of the head while driving home from a Chinese restaurant in the Loris area, as reported by Horry County Police.

The incident occurred on Saturday when the man noticed a black Honda following him. The driver of the Honda then shot at him, hitting him in the head.

Despite the injury, the victim continued driving, eventually losing the black Honda as he turned onto S.C. 747 and S.C. 66, heading towards North Carolina.

The victim sought help at a woman’s house, who then drove him to McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River, where the police were contacted.
