Despite Criticism from Elon Musk, MacKenzie Scott Doubles Down on Philanthropy
MacKenzie Scott has significantly increased her philanthropic commitment, more than doubling her original $250 million pledge to a remarkable $640 million.
Elon Musk previously criticized Scott, referring to her as a “super rich ex-wife” who he believes is contributing to the downfall of Western civilization.
However, Scott remains undeterred, announcing on Tuesday her generous donation of $640 million to 361 organizations.
Lever for Change, the organization facilitating Scott’s philanthropic efforts, revealed that 279 nonprofits will receive $2 million each, while the remaining 82 organizations will be granted $1 million each.”
