Ukraine has reported that nine people have been killed in five regions as Russia intensifies its offensive on the front line, where Kyiv’s troops are facing significant challenges. In the eastern Dnipropetrovsk region, two people were killed in attacks on the city of Nikopol. Governor Sergiy Lysak identified the victims as a 52-year-old man who suffered severe shrapnel wounds from shelling and a 54-year-old ambulance driver whose vehicle was struck by an attack drone.
Additionally, a missile attack in the eastern Sumy region, which borders Russia, resulted in two deaths and three injuries, according to regional authorities on social media. In the front-line Donetsk region, which the Kremlin claims as part of Russia, Governor Pavlo Kyrylenko reported that three people were killed in separate attacks on Tuesday.
