Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine Jackson, has reportedly received over $55 million since her son’s passing, as revealed by his estate.
Legal documents filed by the late King of Pop’s estate in an ongoing dispute with Katherine, 93, over her attorney’s fees indicate her substantial financial benefits, according to a representative who spoke with TMZ.
The estate alleges that Katherine has received cash and other benefits totaling over $55 million since Michael’s death in 2009, spanning nearly 15 years.
A significant portion of these funds, totaling $33 million, comes from a monthly allowance exceeding $160k, as detailed by the estate.
This development follows legal action by Michael’s son, Blanket ‘Bigi’ Jackson, 22, aiming to prevent his grandmother from accessing estate funds amid an extended legal battle with the estate executors.
