Alex Batty taught himself all he knows by reading the Harry Potter books over and over.

British schoolboy Alex Batty claimed his mother didn’t want him to be a ‘slave to the system’ as they flitted across Europe living a nomadic hippy lifestyle after she allegedly abducted him.

Alex revealed that as they seldom had wifi, his main hobby was reading JK Rowling‘s hit novels about a boy wizard.

He has read each of the seven books ‘at least 20 times’, he told The Sun.
