The NYPD is preparing to revoke Donald Trump’s gun license after his felony conviction. Trump’s New York concealed carry license was suspended on April 1, 2023, following his indictment.
Two of his pistols were surrendered to the NYPD, and a third was moved to Florida. With his conviction on 34 felony counts on May 30, 2024, Trump may violate federal law if he still possesses the third gun.
The NYPD’s Legal Bureau is finalizing an investigation likely leading to the license revocation. Trump can seek a hearing to challenge this decision.
