Don Jr. suggests Tucker Carlson for Trump’s vice president, acknowledges decision is far from final

NY POST

Donald Trump Jr. expressed his preference for Tucker Carlson as a potential vice presidential candidate for his father’s future bid.

Trump Jr. mentioned that while the decision is far from final, he envisions a lively debate between Carlson and Kamala Harris. Although Senator Tim Scott is considered a great guy and friend, Trump Jr. didn’t specify him as a top choice.

Donald Trump has been elusive about his VP selection timeline, mentioning Carlson as a possibility in the past.

However, Carlson has downplayed such speculation, stating that he lacks the political background for such a role.

Trump Jr. disclosed that his father has mentioned some potential candidates but hasn’t discussed it recently.

He dismissed claims by Ron DeSantis regarding Trump’s VP selection strategy, emphasizing the importance of competency in the decision-making process.
