Two Years On: Russia-Ukraine conflict continues amid anniversary of invasion

Foreign leaders, including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, have arrived in Kyiv to mark the second anniversary of Russia’s war on Ukraine. 

Trudeau affirmed Canada’s steadfast support for Ukraine, emphasizing his presence alongside Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland and Minister of National Defence Bill Blair. 

Johnson expressed solidarity with Ukraine, praising their courage and determination to prevail against Putin’s forces while advocating for increased military, political, and economic assistance to Ukraine.
