Elon Musk’s Neuralink brain chip is success as ‘patient has mind-control powers’

DAILY STAR

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has claimed that the first person to be implanted with his Neuralink brain chip has made a “full recovery” and now has mind control powers.

The Tesla boss launched a six-year period of testing of his “brain-computer interface”, Neuralink, after getting the all-clear last year. Musk claimed in November more than 5,000 people had put themselves forward to take part. And earlier this month he confirmed that the first brain chip had gone in and that the product was called Telepathy.

It has taken three weeks, but Musk has finally confirmed that the person with the chip didn’t die . . . and has actually made a full recovery.

Speaking during a Twitter/X spaces event, he said: “Progress is good, and the patient seems to have made a full recovery, with neural effects that we are aware of. Patient is able to move a mouse around the screen by just thinking.”
