On Thursday, defense attorney and FBI official Caroline Polisi told MSNBC that she believed Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis will likely be “disqualified” from overseeing Donald Trump’s Georgia election interference case due to her improper relationship with lead prosecutor Nathan Wade.
Polisi’s remarks came after one of Willis’ ex-colleagues, Robin Yearti, testified under oath that the DA and Wade’s relationship began in 2019 and was “romantic” in nature, but before Wade had a chance to speak.
MSNBC Legal Analyst: “This is monumental. If things are going in the direction we think, Fani Willis lied to the court, it’s game over for her. She will be disqualified”
