The US has no plan in place to protect the nation from alien invasion, a watchdog has found.
A probe by the Department of Defense’s Office of Inspector General found the superpower had taken no steps to counter potential threats from UFOs – aka unidentified anomalous phenomena or UAPs.
Since the 1940s the US Defense Department has been collecting data on and analysing UAPs which can be airborne clutter, natural atmospheric phenomena, government or industry programs, foreign adversary systems or mystery craft of unknown origin.
But Inspector General Robert Storch’s office found the US had no military plan in place should they turn hostile.
He said he was releasing his office’s report on defence measures to handle UAPs in order ‘to be as transparent as possible with the American people about our oversight work on this important issue’.
The watchdog found the Defense Department had ‘no overarching UAP policy’ or ‘comprehensive, coordinated approach’.
