Brit base jumper plummets to death after parachute fails to open during stunt

A British base jumper was killed when his parachute failed to open during a daring leap from a 29-storey flat in Pattaya, Thailand.

Nathy Odinson, 33, from Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, can be seen in social media footage counting down “three, two, one, see ya” before jumping into the starlit sky, only for things to go horrifically wrong.

The young daredevil was pronounced dead at the scene, the Mirror reports. A 33-year-old security guard, Kanet Chansong, recalled: “I heard the sound of the tree and I thought it was a fallen branch hitting the ground. A woman screamed so I walked over and realised it was person. They were dead. I saw that they had jumped from the building…
