The medieval French astrologer and reputed ‘seer’ Nostradamus has captured the public imagination for centuries, with his collection of poems, published in 1555, which claimed to predict future events.
His predictions include the French Revolution, the rise of Adolf Hitler, and even September 11, 2001.
But its his bombshell premonitions about the Royal Family that currently causing the most controversy.
Leading Nostradamus expert Mario Reading reinterpreted the Frenchman’s theories in 2005, and suggests that “a man who is never expected to become king” takes the throne, following King Charles’ abdication over the public’s resentment of him, following his divorce with Diana.
Reading claimed: “Prince Charles will be in his 70s when he takes over the throne, but the resentments held against him by a certain proportion of the British population, following his divorce from Diana, Princess of Wales, still persist”.
Some people have speculated the man to wear the crown following Charles’ abdication is his youngest son, Prince Harry, or the Australian grandfather Australian Simon Dorante-Day, who claims to be the secret son of King Charles and Camilla, and Charles’ first born.
