Former President Donald Trump has criticized the US military for being “woke” and pledged to dismiss leaders who prioritize diversity over winning wars. In an interview on “Fox & Friends Weekend,” Trump differentiated between “real fighting generals” who are focused on achieving victory and top military leaders who he claims are promoting a “woke” agenda.
He says that the primary purpose of the military is to win wars, not to advance social justice causes.
