For Celestial Church of Christ faithful across the world, the first Sunday in the month of June is not just another day. It is, Rifnotewire gathered, a significant day that marks the celebration of the Juvenile Harvest.
At the International Headquarters of the Celestial Church of Christ, the celebration was taken some notches higher as talent hunt programme, debate and quiz competition, cultural displays heralded the event.
However, the event was not devoid of an admonition to parents on how to nurture godly children.In his sermon, Brother Ajayi Jomiloju, charged parents to teach children the way of God.
Citing the example of the Biblical Eli, Ajayi said the servant of God incurred the wrath of God for failing to rein in the abusive behaviour of his sons, prompting God to punish his family.
“If you don’t chastise them, you don’t love them,” he added
