Boeing’s first launch of its crewed spacecraft Starliner has been postponed for at least 24 hours due to a technical issue. The launch, scheduled to take place from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, was canceled just minutes before the planned liftoff. A Boeing official confirmed that an automatic hold was triggered by the rocket’s computer, halting the countdown clock at 3 minutes and 50 seconds before launch.
The delay was announced during a live NASA webcast, as teams prepared to extract NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams from the spacecraft.
