Arsenal-Liverpool becomes most-watched Premier League game in the US

Arsenal and Liverpool break record for most-watched Premier League game in the United States with nearly 2.5million viewers across networks

  • Arsenal held the previous record with a win over Manchester United in January 
  • The top two Premier League sides will meet again on January 7 and February 4

The December 23 matchup between Arsenal and Liverpool smashed the record for most-viewed Premier League game in the United States. 

On Wednesday, it was reported that the 1-1 draw between the two powerhouses amassed 2.28million viewers across television and streaming platforms. 

NBC’s broadcast reportedly had 1.96m viewers while Peacock contributed 464,000. Telemundo made up the remainder of the total haul. 

Arsenal have now broken a record they previously held with a 3-2 win over Manchester United in January. 

The previous record-holder tallied 1.92m from NBC and Peacock while Telemundo garnered 382,000 viewers.
